The John Jay Senior Edge is a NEW program created by the Center for Career & Professional Development to assist student with finding their first full-time position after finishing their undergraduate or graduate degree.
Participating in the John Jay Senior Edge YOU will learn:
- how
to search for a position
- how
to write effective resume and cover letter
- how
to create a professional social media image
- how
to network using professional business etiquette, including dining,
meetings, and communication
- how
research the industry, employer, and position
- how
to interview and what to wear
THE
BIG COMMITMENT:
The John Jay Senior Edge meets once a week, either a Wednesday or Thursday from 1:45pm - 2:45pm, for ten weeks. The program begins the week of March 11th and ends the week of May 6th, 2013.
